Trash:
If none of the above is an option, this item is safe for disposal in your regular trash. For disposal of sharp metal objects, place in a cardboard box, tape shut, label as "SHARP."
This item breaks the basic rule for metal recycling in your bin or cart—it’s not a can, lid, or foil. When it comes to metal, only cans, lids, and foil are eligible for your mixed recycling.
For scrap metal drop-off: When applicable, always remove as much non-metal from scrap metal items as possible (plastic, foam, textile, etc.). Scrap metal items that are less than 100% metal are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Fees may apply.
