Appliances (large/white goods): Drop off at the Transfer Station for a fee of $15-$25 for major appliances.

Appliances (w/ Freon): Drop off at the Transfer Station for a fee of $15-$25 for major appliances.

Auto Batteries: Drop off at the Transfer Station for a fee of $3 each.

Books & Media: Drop off at the Transfer Station and Animal Shelter into the Discover Books bins. This includes books and commercially recorded media such as CDs, DVDs, records and books on CD.

Bulky Waste: Drop off at the Transfer Station for a fee of $15 for chairs and $25 for sofas. Other hard to dispose of items are $20.

Cardboard: Drop off at the Transfer Station.

Carpeting/Rugs: Drop off at the Transfer Station for a fee of $15 to $25.

Christmas Trees: Drop off at the Transfer Station January through April.

Clothing/Textiles: Drop off at the Transfer Station, Town Hall and Animal Shelter through Planet Aid, Big Brothers Big Sisters of RI and Goodwill.

Construction & Demolition Debris: Drop off at the Transfer Station. Only the following items are accepted: Toilets $10.00, Sinks $10.00, Bathroom fixtures $10.00.

E-waste: Drop off at the Transfer Station, free of charge. Items accepted: TVs (whole/intact), monitors, computers (towers, laptops), tablets and electronics such as VCRs, DVD players, stereos, cordless phones, computer equipment, mice, keyboards, printers, electronics, telephones, landline phones, surge protectors, game consoles, computer parts, servers, audio equipment, video equipment, computer speakers, scanners, routers, fax machines, network equipment, satellite dish, cable TV satellite dish, headphones. Please note that there is a small holding space for these items.

Extra Recycling: Drop off at the Transfer Station.

Furniture: Drop off at the Transfer Station for a fee of $15 for chairs and $25 for sofas. Other hard to dispose of items are $20.

Leaf & Yard Waste: Drop off at the Transfer Station for a fee of $1 per bag.

Mattresses & Box Springs: Drop off at the Transfer Station, free of charge, or $50 each of wet/dirty or damaged. 

Motor Oil & Filters: Drop off at the Transfer Station.

Scrap Metal: Drop off at the Transfer Station.

Small Appliances (no Freon): Typically electric items with a cord, if made primarily out of metal, can be dropped off with scrap metal. 

Tires: Drop off at the Transfer Station for a fee. Car tires: $5, truck $20, Size 800 and over: $30, Tractor, cut in quarters and charged at a rate per quarter of: $30.
