Mattress Drop-off Center: PROVIDENCE RESIDENTS ONLY (identification/proof of residency is required): Saturday 7am-12:45pm, weather permitting. 700 Allens Ave, Providence. Limit of 2 items only, per day, per home. NO ILLEGAL DUMPING. Security Cameras are in place.

Christmas Trees: Picked up curbside during the second, third and fourth full weeks of January on your regular collection day.
Clothing/Textiles: Drop off at Goodwill boxes. A portion of the proceeds will help support programs in Providence parks. Locations: Nathan Bishop Middle School (101 Sessions St., rear of school); Hope High School (324 Hope St., Olney Avenue side)

Leaf & Yard Waste: Picked up curbside on your regular collection day from mid-April through mid-December. Yard debris should be left curbside on recycling and trash collection days; Clippings, leaves and sticks should be placed in open barrels or paper yard waste bags. Sticks and trimmings must be cut to 4 feet or smaller and tied together. Yard debris may not be placed inside plastic bags.
Mattresses & Box Springs: Curbside pickup service is available for a fee and must be called in to Waste Management at 1-800-972-4545, from Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM to make the arrangements. Payment can be made by check, debit card, or credit card.
Or, Providence residents may drop off two items or one set (mattress and box spring, or three pieces for king/queen splits) free of charge, per resident, per day, per home, at the Mattress Drop-off Center. Proof of Providence residency required. NO ILLEGAL DUMPING. Security Cameras are in place.
