Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility: 111 Range Rd., Warwick (behind the Mickey Stevens Sports Complex). Warwick residents only. Hours: Mon.-Fri. 7am-3pm (year-round). Seasonal hours include Saturdays April-December (weather permitting). Proof of residency required.

Department of Public Works (DPW): 925 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Sanitation/Recycling Office: 401-921-9630. Hours: Mon.-Fri. 7am-3:30pm. More information: visit the Recycling website.

Appliances (large/white goods): Picked up curbside, free of charge. Make a Bulky Item Pick-up appointment. OR drop off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility.

Appliances (w/ Freon): Picked up curbside, free of charge. Make a Bulky Item Pick-up appointment.

Bulky Waste: Picked up curbside, free of charge, up to 5 items per collection, max 8 collections in a 12 month period. Make a Bulky Item Pick-up appointment.

Cardboard: All flattened cardboard must fit inside of the recycling cart, with the lid closed. Cardboard that does not fit can be dropped off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility.

Carpeting/Rugs: Picked up curbside, free of charge, up to 5 items per collection, max 8 collections in a 12 month period. Carpets must be cut to 4-5 ft. lengths; rolled and tied, up to 3 rolls per week. Make a Bulky Item Pick-up appointment.

Christmas Trees: Picked up curbside the first two weeks of January (weather permitting). OR drop off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility.

Cooking Oil: Drop off at the following fire stations: Station Four (1501 West Shore Road), Station Five (450 Cowesett Road), Station Six (456 West Shore Road), Station Eight (1651 Post Road)

E-waste: Drop off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility. Includes TVs, computer, printers, monitors and any other computer equipment.

Extra Recycling: Drop off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility.

Furniture: Picked up curbside, free of charge, up to 5 items per collection, max 8 collections in a 12 month period. Make a Bulky Item Pick-up appointment.

Leaf & Yard Waste: Picked up curbside, on your regular collection day, picked up weekly from the late March until the end of summer, then every other week from Columbus Day until mid-December (see yearly city calendar for schedule by street). Includes grass, leaves, garden debris, brush/branches up 4 feet in length and 8 inches in diameter. Place in paper yard waste bags or loose in barrels up to 32-gallons, no heavier than 40 lbs. OR Drop off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility.

Mattresses & Box Springs: Drop off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility.

Motor Oil & Filters: Drop off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility.

Propane Tanks: Drop off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility. The valve must be removed prior to drop off.

Scrap Metal: Drop off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility.

Small Appliances (no Freon): Typically electric items with a cord, if made primarily out of metal, can be dropped off with scrap metal

Tires: Drop off at the Municipal Recycling & Compost Facility. Limit 4 per person; rims must be removed.
