Transfer Station & Department of Public Works (DPW): 51 Buttonwoods Rd., Wyoming. DPW hours: Mon. – Fri., 7am - 3:30pm
Transfer Station Hours: Tues., Wed., Sat., Sun. 8am-4pm; entrance gate closes at 3:45. Richmond and Hopkinton residents only may obtain a permit, free of charge, from Town Hall (with vehicle registration that will be used at transfer station).

Antifreeze: Drop off at Transfer Station.

Appliances (large/white goods): Drop off at Transfer Station, free of charge for stoves, washers and dryers. Dishwashers, hot water heaters and other non-Freon containing metal appliances are accepted for a fee of $25 each.

Appliances (w/ Freon): Drop off at Transfer Station, free of charge for air conditioners and a fee of $50 for refrigerators or freezers.

Bulky Waste: Drop off at Transfer Station for a fee of $140 per ton.

Cardboard: Drop off at Transfer Station, free of charge.

Carpeting/Rugs: Drop off at Transfer Station. Must be rolled & tied.

Christmas Trees: Drop off at Transfer Station during the month of January.

Clothing/Textiles: Drop off at Transfer Station into donation box, or Richmond Elementary School's donation box.

Construction & Demolition Debris: Drop off at Transfer Station for a fee of $140 per ton.

E-waste: Drop off at the Transfer Station, free of charge. Items accepted: TVs (whole/intact), monitors, computers (towers, laptops), tablets and electronics such as VCRs, DVD players, stereos, cordless phones, computer equipment, mice, keyboards, printers, electronics, telephones, landline phones, surge protectors, game consoles, computer parts, servers, audio equipment, video equipment, computer speakers, scanners, routers, fax machines, network equipment, satellite dish, cable TV satellite dish, headphones.

Extra Recycling: Drop off at Transfer Station, free of charge.

Furniture: Drop off at Transfer Station, for a fee: $15 for recliners/upholstered chairs; $25 for couches; $30 for sofa beds.

Mattresses & Box Springs: Drop off at Transfer Station, free of charge. Non-recyclable mattresses and box springs are accepted for a fee of $55 each.

Motor Oil & Filters: Drop off at Transfer Station, free of charge.

Propane Tanks: Drop off at Transfer Station for a fee of $3 for a 20 gallon tank. Propane tanks must be empty prior to drop off.

Scrap Metal: Drop off at Transfer Station, free of charge.

Tires: Drop off at Transfer Station for a fee of $8 for car tires without a rim, $10 for car tires with a rim and $30 for truck tires.
