Commercial Mattress Recycling
Businesses generating or collecting mattresses in RI should contact the Mattress Recycling Council for recycling options.
For all recycling options: mattresses must be recyclable, i.e. relatively clean and dry (cannot be severely damaged, twisted, wet, frozen or soiled, or infested with bed bugs); DOES NOT INCLUDE: fold-out sofa beds, air mattresses, futons/furniture, crib mattresses, water beds, car beds, bedding and loose mattress toppers. Search for "bulky waste" to find your local disposal instructions.
